SITUATION 

Dr. Bryan McLaughlin provides specialized prosthodontic care to the Brentwood community at Middle Tennessee Prosthodontics, offering a unique approach to patient care shaped by his military service background and commitment to advanced restorative dentistry. A native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dr. McLaughlin brings a grounded perspective and strong sense of service to his practice in Middle Tennessee, drawing on life experiences including a distinguished career in the U.S. Army, where he served as Chief of Prosthodontics at Fort Bliss, Texas—treating a large soldier population and mentoring oral surgery residents—before receiving an Honorable Discharge in 2019. He also shares his expertise through award-winning research and national lectures on digital dentures, as well as his specialized focus on areas like sleep apnea, TMJ, and full-mouth rehabilitation. This background, combined with extensive training—including a dental degree and Master’s in Public Health from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, a three-year prosthodontic residency in the Army, and board certification as a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics—fosters an environment of excellence and trust in his practice, with patients benefiting from the “professional” and compassionate care of the team. His commitment to ongoing education, membership in leading organizations such as the American Dental Association and Academy of Osseointegration, and utilization of the latest techniques demonstrate a deep dedication to the well-being of the Brentwood and Middle Tennessee community members he serves.

Dr. McLaughlin Loves helping his patients create their dream smile by providing the absolute best prosthodontic treatment available. But, he was having a difficult time helping his practice stand out from the rest.

We strongly believe that the best branding is derived from an accurate and compelling definition of a business’s culture, their TRUE mission, vision, and values. We worked with Dr. McLaughlin to really nail down what made his practice and culture special. His branding and marketing then blossomed from there.

IDEATION

Brentwood, Tennessee, is a picturesque, affluent suburb of Nashville where rolling green hills blend seamlessly with an upscale, family-oriented lifestyle. Residents—including high-earning professionals, growing families, and retirees—cherish the city’s safe neighborhoods, top-rated schools, and a tight-knit community spirit that values tradition and quiet elegance. This community thrives on shared outdoor experiences, from summer concerts at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater in Crockett Park to scenic hikes through Marcella Vivrette Smith Park and the serene Radnor Lake State Park. Local life is anchored by refined shopping at the Hill Center and the Streets of Brentwood, while the landmark John P. Holt Brentwood Library and historic Ravenswood Mansion remain integral hubs for culture and connection.

Dr. McLaughlin loves tackling complex problems and simplifying them. he is inspired by the bees that he keeps. The more we thought about his skillset, mission, and the fact that he keeps bees, we knew we wanted to move in the direction of a hexagon. For one, he has six main core values that define how he and his team operate on a daily basis. Then his bees (which are extraordinarily organized in their complex efforts) make the readily recognizable hexagon honeycomb pattern. We thought that was a great symbol for his practice, and he loved it.

More to the point… so did his market. He went from having his worst quarter ever to having his best quarter ever later in the year after rolling out his comprehensive marketing program.
