SITUATION 

Dr. Allouch grew up between Texas, Ohio, Massachusetts, and the middle east. But ultimately, he decided to set up shop in Pearland, TX. He put in the time to become an exceptional general dentist, receiving his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry). So by all accounts he could reasonably make the case that he was different in his market.

Unfortunately, his branding didn’t make that statement. His standard tooth logo whispered to his market, “I’m just another dentist.” He knew that if he wanted to attract his ideal patients, he would need to craft an image that confidently proclaimed, “I AM different from the other dentists.”

PROCESS

We strongly believe that the best branding is derived from an accurate and compelling definition of a business’s culture, their TRUE mission, vision, and values. After spending time with Dr. Allouch and learning about his background and his aspirations, we learned that his heritage and principles were deeply important to him. So, we had to create an image that represented his history, future, and principles.

VISION (WHAT success looks like to you)

“We will be known for utilizing cutting-edge technology and the latest evidence-based research, we ensure our dentistry is precise, predictable, and designed for lasting health and confidence.”

VALUES (HOW you act)

  • We Reject Mediocrity: We invest in the world’s best training and technology to ensure we offer truly exceptional dentistry
  • Systematic Excellence: Our meticulous systems support our consistent, efficient, and top-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: We foster an environment of enthusiastic team collaboration.
  • Patient Education: We educate our patients so they can feel confident that they are making the best healthcare decisions possible.
  • Golden Rule of Treatment: We are a genuine, fun, and positive team that treats every patient with warmth and respect.

IDEATION

We combined elements from his past (the Texas Star and the Massachusetts state flower — the mayflower). Both have five points and his principles (his core values) numbered five as well. His new logo uses an image that tells his history and future, and emphasizes the most important points of his practice philosophy. Perfect.

We kept the same name, color scheme, and typeface. Sometimes the change doesn’t need to be dramatic in order to achieve dramatically different results.
